These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Musculoskeletal Edge website, products, digital resources, workshops, webinars, and related services (collectively, the “Services”).

By accessing, purchasing from, registering for, or using the Services in any way, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

1) Who we are

Musculoskeletal Edge (“we”, “us”, “our”) is an independent education and professional development business. Our Services are hosted and delivered through third-party platforms (including Podia).


2) Eligibility (18+ only)

The Services are intended for adults. By using the Services, you confirm that you are 18 years of age or older and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

We may refuse access to the Services to any person at any time where reasonably necessary (including to protect the integrity of the Services, comply with law, or address misuse).


3) Your account and registration (where applicable)

Some Services may require you to create an account or provide registration details (for example, when purchasing or enrolling).

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information

  • Keep your information up to date

  • Keep any login credentials secure

  • Notify us if you suspect unauthorised access to your account

You are responsible for all activity that occurs through your account.


4) Privacy and personal information

Your personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

We use third-party providers to deliver Services (including Podia for hosting/delivery and Stripe for payment processing). These providers may process personal information to enable the Services to function.


5) What we provide (education only)

Musculoskeletal Edge provides education and professional development content for massage therapists, myotherapists, and health-related students and practitioners. This may include digital resources, webinars, and workshops.

Educational use only: Our content is for general education and training purposes. It is not medical advice, does not replace professional judgment, and is not a substitute for individual assessment, clinical supervision, or advice from appropriately qualified health professionals.

You are responsible for how you apply any information from the Services.


6) Purchases, pricing, and payment processing

a) Pricing

Prices are displayed at point of sale and may change at any time. Any changes will not affect purchases already completed.

b) Payments

Payments are processed via Podia and Stripe (or other payment methods made available at checkout). We do not store full payment card details.

c) Taxes

If any taxes apply (including GST where applicable), they will be shown at checkout or included in the price as stated.


7) Digital products, downloads, and access

a) Delivery

Digital products and access details are typically provided via email and/or your account immediately after purchase, or as otherwise described on the product page.

b) Licence for personal use

Unless explicitly stated otherwise, you receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use purchased digital content for your personal use only.

c) No sharing or redistribution

You must not:

  • Share login access

  • Upload, repost, resell, or redistribute digital files

  • Record and share paid webinars/workshops

  • Use our materials to create competing products or training resources


8) Workshops and webinars (live or scheduled events)

a) Registration

Your registration is for you alone unless the product page states multi-seat/group access.

b) Changes, rescheduling, and cancellations

We may occasionally need to reschedule, substitute presenters, adjust delivery format, or cancel an event due to circumstances beyond our control (e.g., illness, venue issues, low enrolments, technical failure).

If we cancel an event, we will provide one of the following (at our discretion, unless required otherwise by law):

  • A full refund, or

  • A transfer/credit to a rescheduled session, or

  • Access to an equivalent alternative offering


9) Refunds and returns

We comply with the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under the ACL.

a) Change of mind

Unless otherwise stated on the product page, we do not offer “change of mind” refunds for:

  • Digital downloads

  • Digital resources that have been accessed or delivered

  • Webinar replays or recordings where access has been provided

b) Faults and major failures

If a product or service has a major failure under the ACL, you may be entitled to a refund, replacement, or compensation.

c) Event-specific terms

Refund or transfer eligibility for workshops/webinars (if offered) will be stated on the relevant product page and forms part of these Terms.

10) User content and community spaces (if applicable)

If you post, upload, or submit content (e.g., comments, questions, community posts), you:

  • Confirm you have the right to share it

  • Grant us a non-exclusive licence to display and use it for operating and improving the Services

  • Agree not to post anything unlawful, harmful, misleading, defamatory, or infringing

We may remove content or restrict access at our discretion if content breaches these Terms.


11) Acceptable use (rules of conduct)

You agree not to:

  • Violate any law or third-party rights

  • Misuse or attempt to disrupt the Services (including hacking, scraping, or automation)

  • Circumvent access controls

  • Upload viruses or malicious code

  • Harass, abuse, or impersonate others

  • Use the Services to distribute spam or unsolicited promotions

We may suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary to protect the Services or other users.


12) Intellectual property

All content provided by Musculoskeletal Edge, including videos, documents, slide decks, graphics, worksheets, prompts, and written materials, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.

Except as expressly permitted in these Terms, you may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative works from our content.


13) Third-party services and links

The Services may include third-party services, embedded tools, or links (e.g., Podia, Stripe, Google Analytics, Meta platforms). We are not responsible for third-party services, their availability, or their policies. Use them at your own risk and review their terms.


14) Disclaimer of warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Services are provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not guarantee:

  • That the Services will be uninterrupted or error-free

  • That content will always be accurate, current, or suitable for your specific needs

  • That technical issues will never occur


15) Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss (including lost profits, lost business, loss of data).

  • Our total liability for any claim related to the Services is limited to the amount you paid for the relevant product/service in the 3 months prior to the event giving rise to the claim, unless the ACL requires otherwise.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under the ACL.


16) Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold Musculoskeletal Edge harmless from claims, losses, and expenses arising from your misuse of the Services, your breach of these Terms, or your infringement of third-party rights.


17) Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services if you breach these Terms or misuse the Services.

Termination does not affect:

  • Any rights or obligations accrued prior to termination

  • Any clauses intended to survive termination (including IP, liability limits, indemnities)


18) Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. You submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria and applicable Australian courts.


19) Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version will be published on our website. Continued use of the Services after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
